Do you want personal feedback to help you make the most of our
On-Demand Training courses? Let our coaching services help you
make
the most of your On-Demand Training courses. As part of our
continued commitment to provide you with hands-on, practical, highly
personal guidance
for your careers, AuthorMBA is pleased to announce two
types of coaching services to meet the needs of writers at every stage
of their careers.

Individual
Coaching
Writers who have worked through an On-Demand Training course (or have
taken a Kay Lockner workshop) can now get individual coaching from Kay
to supplement their own efforts. Individual coaching is now
available in the following areas:
● Career
plans (for Snap Planning or
Career Check-Up students)
● Career
makeovers (for Snap Planning
or
Career Check-Up students)
● Book/series-driven marketing
plans (for Powerhouse
Marketing
students)
● Strategic marketing
plans (for Powerhouse
Marketing students)
● Market
research (for Research the
Markets Like a Pro students)
Each coaching package is a seven-day online consultation customized for
your individual needs. We'll review each piece of the plan you've
created in the course, answer any questions or concerns you have about
your plan, fine-tune areas that need assistance, brainstorm ways to take
your plan to the next level, and help you get your new plan off to a
great start.
Kay will walk you through her exclusive coaching process to make
sure you are comfortable, confident, and delighted with your new
strategies. Seven-day individual coaching packages range in
price from $99 to $199, depending on the type of coaching and the
specific needs of each client.
**NOTE: As of February
1, 2008, we are unable to take on new coaching clients. We
will announce here and via our monthly
newsletter when we begin taking new clients again.

AuthorMBA Think
Tanks
If you want to get group coaching – for your critique group, your
writing buddies, or a group of authors wanting to launch a joint
marketing campaign – an AuthorMBA Think Tank may be just the thing to
meet your need. Think Tanks are private, seven-day coaching
intensives for small groups. You receive many of the same benefits
of the personal coaching, but also get the benefit of group
brainstorming and encouragement.
Think Tanks are particularly helpful for authors who plan to do joint
marketing efforts – so they can play to each other’s strengths and
brands – and for critique/writer strategy groups who want to support
each other’s career ambitions in the best way possible. AuthorMBA
Think Tanks are available in the following areas:
● Marketing
plans (for Powerhouse
Marketing students)
● Career
plans (for Snap Planning or
Career Check-Up students)
The prep work for AuthorMBA Think Tanks is similar to Individual
Coaching. Every participant must be an On-Demand Training or
workshop client and have a completed preliminary plan prior to the
beginning of the Think Tank. We’ll go through the key pieces of
your plans in
a group format so everyone can comment on each other’s ideas.
Kay serves as the marketing/career coach (depending on the type of
Think Tank) and moderates the Think Tank brainstorming. She'll
pose individual and group questions to make sure everyone keeps the
big picture and constraints in mind as they narrow down their
options. Our exclusive Think Tanks offer a combination of
personal coaching and group brainstorming, a very powerful one-two
punch for your career. Private Think Tanks can be scheduled
for $50-80 per person, depending on the size of the group and the
type of Think Tank.
**NOTE: As of February
1, 2008, we are unable to take on new think tank clients. We
will announce here and via our monthly
newsletter when we begin taking new clients again.

AuthorMBA coaching engagements are business training events designed to help
writers embrace the business side of their writing careers. No coaching materials or comments made during the
coaching process should be construed as providing

For clients wishing to address financial, legal, or otherwise
